Location/Habitat

- They are located in Asia. They are found in India except the Northeast, and they are in Pakistan. They are also in the Middle East in Oman, Masirah, and Iraq and Southwestern Iran and eastern United Arab Emirates. In Central Asia they are in Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tadzikhistan.
- These snakes mostly stay in the sand, in rocks, in scrubs, dry leaves, under plants and under loose rocks. They are usually in the dry plains, deserts, rocky hills and sandy soil.
- There are a certain species of Saw Scaled Vipers in Oman and they are closely related to the ones India.
